The Coralwood Foundation was established to ensure Coralwood School has the necessary resources to deliver the exceptional education our children deserve—both today and in the future. With a focus on bridging the gap between school system funding and the school’s actual needs, the Foundation advocates for Coralwood and works closely with the DeKalb County School District.
Since 2005, the Foundation has provided crucial support for teachers and students by funding specialized training, classroom technology, music and motor equipment, and more. A dedicated Director of Development, funded by the Foundation, also secures grants and philanthropic donations to further enhance Coralwood’s initiatives.
The Foundation’s Annual Challenge is a key fundraising effort. Through this campaign, parents and supporters help fund classroom needs, teacher development, and long-term growth projects like the outdoor learning garden, nature trail, and arts education programs. With a annual goal of 100% family participation, the Annual Challenge has raised over $300,000 since its inception, directly benefiting Coralwood’s students and teachers.
Your support ensures that Coralwood remains a leading center for inclusive education, creating opportunities for all students to thrive. Every contribution to the Foundation makes a lasting impact, empowering our school community and building a brighter future for our children.
